The reports come in with greater frequency this time of year. Something stirs in the Shadow Shard realms that have been linked to our world through the efforts of the Portal Corporation... and the efforts of more sinister forces now at play in these distant shores.
October
comes to our world, to our place here in Paragon City. To the world of Firebase
Zulu, and the Cascades Archipeligo, and the Chantry, and the Storm Palace, the
winds of Autumn bring SHARDTOBER. A month of dark bloody battles between the
Rularuu entities and those who would seek to unlock godly powers...
The call goes out at this time, to all heroes able to enter the Shadow Sharm realms to do battle against the Rularuu, the Crey, Nemesis' forces, the Circle of Thorns, and Praetorians. The call for help from Dr. Quarterfield, from Sara Moore, from Justin Augustine, and from Faathim the Kind.
Who will answer the call? Who will stand against the dark winds of SHARDTOBER once more?
Well, probably youse guys. After all, you've made it this far into my crazy. :)
Check the Champion server this October for weekend Task Force calls for each of the four Shard Task Forces. If you're with other servers, go ahead and form your own! And enjoy the month of SHARDTOBER!
